Every Saturday morning there are two local markets on. One at Mangawhai tavern and one at the hall on Insley street. Both offer great local gifts and treats, and goodies.

Walking
Mangawhai cliff top walk is one not to be missed, starting at the heads carpark this walk takes about 3 hrs. Lots of stunning views along the way on a calm day. Forest walks in the Brynderwyn hills have a great choice of walks and waterfalls too. mangawhaitracks.com
